Soroptimist International of Central Solano County

The Soroptimist International of Central Solano County recently presented the Ruby Award to Gale Spears. The Ruby Award is given, based on works to better the lives of women personally and professionally, and Gale volunteers hours each week coordinating and implementing a new program with Kaiser Permanente and Solano Midnight Sun clients, getting women (and men) the care they need.

You can read about the Ruby Award, and more about Gale, in this Daily Republic article.

On behalf of The Solano Midnight Sun Foundation, and breast cancer patients, thank you Gale for all you do, and thank you Soroptimists for recognizing and rewarding Gale’s dedication to helping others.

Napa-Solano Oncology Nurses Society

THANK YOU!

Solano Midnight Sun Foundation Board Members attended at dinner meeting of the Napa-Solano Oncology Nurses Society on February 22, 2016, and were presented with a generous donation to help us further the goals of the Foundation.

Thank you to the nurses for the difficult work you do with cancer patients. The money donated will help at least one cancer patient worry less about financial needs while fighting breast cancer.

Pictured below are Solano Midnight Sun Treasurer Karen Stone, accepting the donation from Karen Stillwell of the ONS, and SMSF Board members Karen Stone, Steve Laren, and Sue Laren.
